Wake Up Your Glutes!


Today is Day 20 of the 30 Day September Squat Challenge and today I'm mixing it up a bit with the purpose of really firing up the glutes 🔥! The glutes are the muscles that make up the beloved booty (gluteus maximus, gluteus medius & gluteus minimus) and are one of the hardest muscle groups to activate. Those that lead a sedentary lifestyle and sit down a lot commonly find that their glute muscles become quite weak, so they are an important muscle group to work to keep them strong. If you want to look great in jeans or have the perfect bikini booty, be sure to add in some glute training to your exercise regime! Day 20's quota is 230 squats so I did the following circuit to hit my squat target and really fire up the glutes! The isolation exercises I incorporated resulted in some serious burn! GLUTE ACTIVATION CIRCUIT 23 Narrow Squats 15 Hip Thrusts 23 Wide Squats 15 Leg Kickback Pulses (each side) Repeat x 5
