Lou's Chocolate Brownies

I finally perfected my choc brownie recipe! It's difficult to stop at one so best made as a special treat, not an every week food! If you're a peanut butter lover, why not try 2 Tbsp added in for an extra nutty flavour.

Lou's Chocolate Brownies (DF GF V)

Serves: 10 people

Ingredients:

125g good quality dark chocolate 150g ghee 3 eggs 2 Tbsp maple syrup 130g gluten free plain flour 1 tsp vanilla 1 Heaped Tbsp raw cacao

1 Tbsp chia seeds

3/4 cup walnuts (optional)

Directions:

  • Pre-heat oven to 160 degrees

  • Melt ghee TM - 20 minutes, speed 2, 60 degrees

  • Add chocolate and blend well TM - 10 seconds, speed 5

  • Add in eggs, maple syrup and vanilla and mix well TM - 10 seconds, speed 3

  • Mix in flour and cacao TM - 10 seconds, speed 3

  • Stir in chia seeds and walnuts TM - 15 seconds, speed 4 reverse

  • Pour mixture into a lined or silicone square tinand bake for 35 minutes
